These days it’s hard to mix children and work….it is hard to show the amount of love they need when you must do so much to make a living. I am sensitive to this subject because I have a little one. Children need love at any age, but it has a very lasting effect on them when they are little. Many of you may know by now, studies showing the the connection between affection and brain development in children and how it affects them for the rest of their lives. I am a firm believer that you will make a difference in your childrens’ lives by how you raise them….what you teach them from your mouth as well as your own behavior.
There are many teachers for parenting, and you need to use wisdom even in that choice. I do have a suggestion: Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a great common sense teacher and author about relationships of all kinds. I hope this has been helpful. http://www.waimomona.wordpress.com/

I think the most important years in a child’s life are the ones very early on. From birth to about 3 or 4.
It makes the greatest impact on their life.
